Hayley’s practice involves all areas of employment law. Prior to joining Bello / Welsh, Hayley was an associate at a general practice firm, focusing on civil and appellate litigation. Her experience includes negotiating and drafting employment and management agreements and employee manuals for a variety of industries. She also researches and counsels clients on a wide range of legal issues including wage and hour laws, employee classification, and employee discipline. Hayley has also participated in the defense of companies in lawsuits involving claims for wrongful termination, negligent hiring, tortious interference with contract, and other employment-related issues.
Hayley graduated cum laude from Boston University. She received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she earned a litigation concentration with honors. She was also an Associate Note Editor for Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine, an active member of the mock trial team, and the winner of the Dunmore Moot Court Competition.
Hayley is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New York, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
