Sasha’s practice involves all aspects of labor and employment law. Sasha’s experience includes defending employers before federal and state courts and agencies in actions involving a variety of claims, including discrimination, harassment, employee misclassification, whistleblower, and wage and hour individual and class action litigation. Sasha has also helped clients in various contract disputes, including employee compensation and intellectual property protection. Sasha also provides counseling to employers on a range of issues, such as employment policies and procedures, wage and hour compliance, employee discipline, leaves of absence, and reductions in force. In addition, Sasha has experience assisting clients in labor negotiations and related arbitration, under both the National Labor Relations Act and the Railway Labor Act.
Sasha received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale University. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Public Interest Law Journal. Prior to joining Bello / Welsh, LLP, Sasha was an associate in the Labor & Employment group at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP, one of the 50 largest U.S. law firms. Sasha is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and California.
